While some customers endlessly complain about certain features, Facebook appears to be doing nothing to alleviate these woes. Nothing wrong with the update except it’s identical to the one before it. Version 5.1 reportedly comes with more ways to message people (with everything available “front and center,” as Facebook puts it), the ability to send videos from your phone's camera roll and to play incoming videos right in the app, instant photo sharing (without leaving the convo), sticker shortcuts, and improved search.
It isn’t clear what the purpose of the update is. Facebook has updated its messaging client to version 5.1 boasting the exact same changes from the 5.0 build deployed last month.
